Cauvery Education and Research Trust (CERT) established during 2014 to provide higher education to the rural educational aspirants. The trust was established by retired professors from engineering colleges and science colleges. Under the CERT, Cauvery Institute of Technology and Cauvery Degree College was established. The objective of the colleges under the trust is to impart value based education to the students from rural areas. The institute in a lush green campus spread over in an area of more than 11 acres.

The students will be thought and trained in the state-of-the-art technologies by the specialized faculty, who are well qualified as per the AICTE norms.

CIT Mandya continuously interacting with the major engineering and software companies and also have signed MOU’s with them. This has helped to place larger number of students to various companies. During the year 2024-25 we are proud to inform that 121 students have placed in various companies.

CIT Mandya has recognized as a research center for offering Ph.D degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and Chemistry.
